Lindsey Bourret, Director
With over a decade of experience in the field of fine art authentication through research, business development and management roles at Art Experts, ArtDiscovery and Mearto, Lindsey is proud to lead the Signature team. Based out of the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte in Munich, Lindsey continues to have an active hand in research, while also working to ensure customer satisfaction and the highest quality standards for each Signature project.

Grace Harlow, Senior Researcher
Grace is a fine art appraiser and researcher based in New York City. She holds a B.A. in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an M.A. in Art History and Museum Studies from Georgetown University and has a certificate in Art Business issued by Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. Grace has worked at auction houses, galleries, art investment companies, and appraisal firms in New York City, Washington D.C. and London.

Sara Starr, Senior Researcher
Sara is a fine art specialist and appraiser with a focus on prints and sculptures. She received a Bachelor's of Fine Art in Art History from Savannah College of Art and Design and a certificate in Art Law from Christie's Education. She has held positions in institutional and educational settings, as well as ecommerce and auction houses across the country. While she is based out of New York City and South Carolina, she is a frequent traveler and visits many archives and historical collections.

Dr. David Usieto, Researcher
David brings over a decade of experience in fine art with a distinguished specialization in Asian and African art history. With a background in art consultancy and art management in various international galleries and museums, David lectures for a luxury house based in the UAE in addition to his work for Signature. He has curated numerous exhibitions and produced symposia and publications throughout Europe, America, Asia and Africa.

Karine Sarant-Hawkins, Researcher
Karine earned her master's degree in art history from the Panthéon-Sorbonne University in Paris. She has held various curatorial and administrative positions at many esteemed fine art institutions, including the Museum of Anthropology in Munich, Tate Modern, Tate Britain, the Arts Council Collection and the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Karine provides Signature with documentary support and unparalleled access to the research libraries and resources in London.

Carla Burkert, Researcher
Carla is an art historian with a special focus on modern and contemporary art. She holds a Master's degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has supported appraisal and cataloging projects for museums, auction houses, and galleries in the United States and Europe. Her multilingual background and international network ensures comprehensive research for Signature.
